New technological development in the 21st century has brought tremendous changes to the library including infrastructure, library management, service concept, service methodologies, and technological measures. New technologies have changed users’ information seeking behavior, impacting on library routine work, management, knowledge-based services, and service models. How to keep abreast of developmental trends, design strategies, update management concepts, and transform user service models in this ever changing information environment; how to define academic library position and mission and explore new methodologies for library sustainable development; how to arouse library team innovation and vitality and improve librarians qualities; these are all unavoidable issues facing library leaders and managers.
